We believe that wearing a school uniform helps students build self-confidence and a sense of connection with our community. Students wear their uniforms with pride.
The Melbourne Girls’ College uniform policy was developed and endorsed by our College Council. Every effort is made to ensure our uniform is inexpensive, inclusive, practical, resilient, trans-seasonal and well-liked by students.
New uniforms are available for purchase through our supplier Bob Stewart.
Bob Stewart have been valued supporters of the MGC community for many years. Details of uniform options and purchasing procedures are available via the Bob Stewart website.
Second-hand uniform items can be purchased through Bocca Foods and The Sustainable School Shop.
Bocca Foods offers families a second-hand uniform shop at the College. Our Second Life Uniform Shop enables families to make savings by recycling uniform items which are professionally cleaned and pressed.
Sustainable School Shop enables families to trade with Melbourne Girls’ College community as well as other school communities for uniform and other school materials.
