We value the pursuit of excellence and know that effective assessment and timely constructive feedback is vital for student learning and motivation.

We also believe that students who take responsibility for their progress and who are well supported by teachers and parents are more likely to achieve their personal best.

Teachers conduct regular formative and summative assessments. Feedback on student achievement is available in real time and is available to students and parents through the Compass portal.

The MGC feedback model encourages the active engagement of students and parents. Parents and students meet with teachers each semester to discuss student progress. We encourage students to be actively involved in these discussions to build an understanding of their responsibility for their learning.
