MGC Parents’ Association

At Melbourne Girl’s College we are privileged to have a vibrant and engaged parent and carer community.

Our MGC Parents’ Association are important partners in our college community, being an integral part of our students’ educational experience, and allowing us to maximise opportunities for students through these successful partnerships.

The MGC Parents’ Association supports the college and strengthens our sense of community by building connections through fundraising, thereby positively contributing to the operations of the college.

The MGC Parents’ Association meet once a month at the College to connect, discuss and plan together. Opportunities to volunteer for the MGC Parents’ Association are as diverse as the college itself. Parents and carers can get involved in the following ways:

  • Becoming a Year Level Ambassador.
  • Participating in the subgroups (grants, promotions, finance etc).
  • Attending and supporting a variety of Parent’s Association events throughout the year, such as the Father’s Day Breakfast, Parents’ Association Raffle, Parent Social Nights and regular Coffee Catch Ups.

Please contact our Parents’ Association at mgcparents@gmail.com to register your interest. Alternatively, feel free to monitor our MGC newsletter for all upcoming opportunities.
