All Other Enrolments
We welcome current Year 7 – 12 student enrolment enquiries from both the local and wider community.
In accordance with the Department of Education Policies, eligible children and young persons have the right to be admitted to their designated neighbourhood government school, regardless of capacity.
Accordingly, all students that reside within the designated neighbourhood school (referred to as a ‘school zone’) for Melbourne Girls’ College will be offered a place when seeking enrolment as a Year 7-12 student.
The Find My School website identifies designated neighbourhood schools.
We welcome applications for enrolment for Year 7-12 from outside of our designated neighbourhood school.
Where current enrolment capacities allow for the placement of new students from Years 7-12, we follow the Department of Education Policy for priority of placements.
- Students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time.
- Remaining places will be allocated to students in order of closeness of their permanent residence to Melbourne Girls’ College.
