What is Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is an approach to Wellbeing based on the scientific study of developing people’s strengths to promote positive wellbeing and achieve mental health and stability.

It is used in conjunction with more traditional forms of psychology, which intervene to assist individuals return to a healthy mental state. Positive psychology, can therefore been seen as a pre-emptive measure in which preventative strategies are developed to support individuals to flourish and thrive.
